The History of T.A.T.S Downunder Pty Ltd.
Martin Thompson first started this company in 2004. The business operated from inside his family home, consisted of two employees (including himself) and one machine. As time went on and the business grew, Martin expanded and purchased more machinery and some attachments to add. As his children have grown older they have entered the family business restructuring systems and introducing TATS Downunder to the new modern day of technology. TATS Downunder now consists of 2 Backhoes an 8.0T Isuzu Tipper, 5.5T Hitachi Excavator, PT-80 Skid Steer Posi Track, as well as a partnership with certain Concrete/Asphalt industries and a 5-man team. Within the next 3 months TATS will have established an on-site office for potential clients needing further information or assistance about our services.

T.A.T.S. was established in 2004 as an Earthmoving company. "T.A.T.S" stands for - "Thomo's Assessment & Training Services" - "Thomo" Being the name Martin is known by his friends and family. Over the past 11 years Martin has gained a reputation of professionalism and high quality services. Martin holds a wide range of qualifications ranging from Boiler Making & Welding to Machine Operating & Construction giving him the knowledge and expertise of not only Earthmoving but Construction & Machinery also. In Martin's spare time he enjoys going away fishing with his partner, riding his Ducati Motorcycle, or working on a home project in his shed and around his home.
JAKE THOMPSON - MANAGER
Jake is the Manager of TATS Downunder Pty Ltd. Jake is qualified to operate all Plant & Machinery and is one of the most experienced and competent Operators in Newcastle. Jake grew up operating Trucks & Machinery which gives him the a lot of knowledge about the Earthmoving & Construction Industry from a young age. On the weekends Jake enjoys going away with his partner, having BBQ's and a few beers with friends. Jake began working for TATS in 2015. Jake has completed his Trade in Carpentry & Joinery as well as holding the below qualifications:
OH&S White Card, Excavator & Skid Steer Loader Competency Card, Builder Contractor Licence 270695C, WWC Approved, Truck Licence, Working above Overhead Powerlines Cert.

KALLY THOMPSON - ADMINISTRATION & ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Kally is the last of the family to convert over to the family business. Kally has jumped from 3 Years in Retail, to 1 year in Real Estate and then 3 years in Finance. Now she has joined the rest of her family. In Kally's spare time she enjoys gardening, drinking coffee and spending time with her partner and animal family. Kally has completed her Certificate ll in Business Services and is currently studying to complete her Certificate ll in Small Business Management at Hunter Tafe, Newcastle. Kally's precise organisation and strict, strategic planning is what keeps he structure of the business in place. Kally believes that customer service is one of the key factors to success in a business. If you have any issues with TATS, Kally will go above and beyond to ensure your problem is resolved. If you're not happy, Kally's not happy.
